Patient Accounting Representative, Billing & Claims, Full Time, First Shift

About the role

The Patient Accounting Representative is responsible for billing claims electronically, verifying insurance and registration for patients, processing, and mailing paper claims. They also work on various professional billing workqueues and workqueue types within Epic.

Responsibilities

• Bills claims electronically
• Verifies insurance and registration for patients
• Processes and mails paper claims
• Works on several different professional billing workqueues and workqueue types in Epic

Qualifications

• Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Associate's Degree
• Licenses/Certifications: Not Specified
• Minimum Required: 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications
