About the role
Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge GIS projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the advancement of geographic information systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS SDKs and related technologies
- Collaborate with project managers, data analysts, and other developers to design and implement GIS solutions
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS applications
- Support the testing and deployment of GIS applications
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geomatics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in GIS development and/or software engineering
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
- Experience with ArcGIS SDKs and related technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Experience with web-based GIS applications
- Knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques and tools
- Understanding of database management systems and spatial databases
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
Skills
- Strong understanding of GIS concepts and principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms (e.g., ArcGIS Online)
- Knowledge of geospatial data formats and interoperability standards

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
