About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge GIS projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the advancement of geographic information systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS SDKs and related technologies
• Collaborate with project managers, data analysts, and other developers to design and implement GIS solutions
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS applications
• Support the testing and deployment of GIS applications
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geomatics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in GIS development and/or software engineering
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
• Experience with ArcGIS SDKs and related technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Experience with web-based GIS applications
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques and tools
• Understanding of database management systems and spatial databases
• Experience with version control systems such as Git

Skills

• Strong understanding of GIS concepts and principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms (e.g., ArcGIS Online)
• Knowledge of geospatial data formats and interoperability standards

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
