Description

The Paid Media Marketing Manager sits within the Channel Strategy & Automation team within Amazon Ads Marketing. We are seeking a versatile, data-driven paid media marketing manager who can operate at both the strategic and executional level to drive brand, and performance marketing objectives through paid media globally.

About the role

As AI-powered search, recommendation engines, and agent-mediated experiences reshape how customers discover and engage with brands, the traditional paid media playbook is evolving in real time. This role will help write the next chapter: establishing how paid amplification drives visibility not just with human audiences but within the AI systems that increasingly influence customer decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own paid media planning, optimization, and operations for a variety of high-profile campaigns — partnering with teams across the Amazon Ads organization to create campaigns tied to business objectives, manage agency relationships, optimize spend, and measure results.
  • Bring a point of view on how paid media needs to evolve as the landscape shifts, while also going deep into the work — optimizing campaigns, executing directly in-platform when speed or scale demands it, finding trends, testing emerging formats, and pushing into new territory where paid media intersects with AI-driven discovery.
  • Build on established best practices while helping define new ones where the rules are still being written.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of B2B marketing best practices
  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
