About the Role

This position involves 24x7 remote network monitoring and management for large data centers and enterprise network environments, including critical issue resolution, vendor coordination, and project handling.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage networks 24x7 remotely for corporate and shared environments.
  • Own and resolve networking issues, including P1/P2 break-fix incidents.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for operational issues and projects.
  • Provide hardware support and maintenance for all networking components.
  • Manage network stability, uptime, and new networking solutions.
  • Handle projects related to site expansion, hardware refresh, and technology upgrades.
  • Resolve escalated issues from L1/L2 teams and ensure timely resolution.
  • Document outages, circuits down, and incident reports.
  • Identify corrective actions for critical incidents and drive problem management to closure.
  • Interact with internal users to evaluate needs and build appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain documentation and change control processes.
  • Mentor junior team members and guide them in change tasks.
  • Monitor event logs and services proactively to identify potential issues.
  • Attend scheduled network change calls impacting availability.
  • Perform shift handovers and provide shift updates.
  • Work with global teams to support and complete IT projects.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field.
  • ~10 years of experience in Enterprise/Telecom Network infrastructure.
  • Expert-level knowledge in network device administration (Juniper Switch, F5 LTM/GTM, Wireless, MPLS/WAN/LAN, Palo Alto Firewall).
  • Expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF.
  • Hands-on experience with large Infoblox and Aruba ClearPass deployments.
  • Knowledge of protocols like VRRP, HSRP, STP, LACP, SNMP.
  • Experience with SDWAN products.
  • Expert-level knowledge in at least one cloud technology (Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • Proficiency in automation/scripting to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Up-to-date understanding of industry needs and technical demands.

Skills

  • Excellent communication (written & oral), including ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to work in shifts for global network support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on execution against deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, constructive, and positive attitude.
  • Understanding of infrastructure management processes and ITIL framework.
  • Proficiency in productivity tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • CCNP Certification is an added advantage.

Pay

$64,000 - $120,000 a year
