Sr Network Engineer

Contract to Hire position based in Tulsa, OK.

About the role

This expert-level network engineering role focuses on the following areas:

• 60% Cisco wireless – 9800 controller and AP fleet, Catalyst Center, wireless security, RF design, client troubleshooting, Wi-Fi scorecard.
• 25% Cisco SD-WAN – 670+ site footprint: WAN Edge onboarding, policy and segmentation, branch turn-up, on-call.
• 15% core networking – campus LAN and routing, ISE, DNS/DHCP, Ivanti change and CMDB discipline.

First-Year Outcomes

• 90 days – Controller/AP health baseline established; all open wireless TAC cases driven to root cause.
• 6 months – Tangible WiFi stability improvements; consolidations completed; telemetry verified; Wi-Fi scorecard published.
• 9 months – Dallas and Ashburn hub wireless delivered on the RNB schedule; runbooks complete.
• 12 months – Incident volume reduced vs. baseline; Chicago and Seattle completed; SD-WAN backup coverage in place.

Requirements

• Expert-level network engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Cisco routers, switches, SD-WAN, DNS, DHCP, and wireless technologies.
• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent experience).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00 per hour.
