Sr MEP Professional - Data Center

Responsibilities

• Originate MEP Scopes of Work and participate in scope review meetings
• Originate MEP installation and commissioning activities within the Project Schedule
• Train others on MEP systems
• Determine the MEP subcontracting strategies for a project
• Develop MEP bid package schedule with input from the design team and owner
• Track progress of the MEP coordination process and ensure the deliverable meets contract requirements
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members
• Support a positive and inclusive work environment
• Collaborate closely with business development to ensure seamless integration with sales strategies including performance metrics on your assigned projects, pursuits, and client deliverables
• Actively participate in opportunities to strengthen client, partner, and industry relationships that position Gilbane as the “Builder of Choice”

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience
• Previous experience with data center field construction is preferred
• OSHA 30 hour certified or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to lead in a team environment and manage project subcontractors
• Strong technical expertise and leadership for the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Knowledge of the BIM Coordination and 3D modeling process
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of risk management
• Strong knowledge and appreciation of construction safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety plan

Pay

To be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. For Ohio this ranges from $110,000 - $140,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
