Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, a platform enabling organizations that depend on physical operations to harness IoT data for actionable insights and operational improvements. We help improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of industries representing over 40% of global GDP, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing. This role contributes to shaping product solutions like Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring within a recently public company offering autonomy and long-term impact.

About the Role

Join the Marketing Operations team as the Sr. Marketing Ops Manager for Global Lead Funnel Optimization, owning the end-to-end lead lifecycle—from ingestion and routing through enrichment, SLA governance, and funnel performance—across all go-to-market regions. This high-impact, cross-functional role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and data, requiring collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, and Engineering to continuously improve systems and processes that convert marketing activity into pipeline. You’ll operate with autonomy, applying analytical rigor and a builder’s mindset to drive measurable impact. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US, excluding the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

Responsibilities

  • Own the global lead funnel architecture, including lead ingestion, routing logic, channel setup, data enrichment, and SLA governance, iterating to improve speed, accuracy, and conversion.
  • Drive lead-to-opportunity performance by analyzing funnel conversion rates across regions and segments, translating findings into prioritized improvement initiatives and executing them for measurable impact.
  • Design and implement scalable process and systems improvements that anticipate Samsara’s continued growth, solving root problems rather than surface-level issues.
  • Build and maintain reporting to provide marketing and sales leadership with clear, reliable insights into pipeline generation performance, proactively surfacing trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Serve as the operational backbone of the GTM engine, maintaining trusted relationships across Sales, Sales Operations, Account Development, Marketing, and Engineering, and acting as the go-to operational counterpart for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leverage AI and automation to build workflows that streamline repeatable lead flow tasks, integrating these into standard operating procedures and sharing best practices with the broader team.
  • Identify gaps before they escalate, framing issues clearly and arriving at cross-functional conversations with solutions, not just problems.
  • Act as a trusted partner to ADR Managers and Marketing Campaign owners, addressing questions on lead quality, performance measurement, and system behavior with a solutions-oriented, team-first mindset, using feedback to continuously improve.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles, role-modeling and embedding values like Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, and Win as a Team as the company scales globally.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, Business Systems, Analytics, or a closely related B2B go-to-market role, with a strong emphasis on analytical problem-solving and end-to-end program ownership.
  • Advanced proficiency with LeanData for lead routing and Salesforce, including deep working knowledge of the Lead, Contact, Account, Campaign, Activity, and Opportunity data models.
  • Strong command of funnel dynamics, measurement, and analytics, with the ability to diagnose conversion issues, build analyses, and translate findings into clear, data-driven recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Clear, structured communication and strong stakeholder management skills across GTM functions (Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Customer Success, and beyond), making complex operational topics accessible and actionable for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to own cross-functional programs end-to-end—from problem definition through execution and measurement—with minimal direction.
  • Experience using AI tools in day-to-day work, such as in-app copilot features (e.g., Salesforce Einstein) or standalone solutions like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.

Skills

An ideal candidate is also comfortable with:

  • Databricks as a consumer—writing or adapting queries, pulling data sets, and conducting ad hoc analysis.
  • Tableau for building or interpreting dashboards and funnel reporting.
  • Marketing automation and sales engagement platforms: Marketo, Gong.
  • Automation and workflow tools: Gumloop, Zapier, Clay, Airtable.

Pay

Annual base salary range: $105,315—$159,300 USD. This role is also eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff and ongoing refresh opportunities tied to performance, subject to plan terms and conditions.

Benefits

At Samsara, total rewards are designed to support high-impact builders through:

  • Above-market total compensation, combining base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity in a high-growth public company, with meaningful differentiation for top performers.
  • A flexible, employee-led remote model.
  • A professional development stipend.
  • Comprehensive health and parental leave plans.

Schedule

Samsara embraces a flexible working model catering to diverse team needs. Offices are available for in-person work, and remote work is supported where aligned with operational requirements. For this role, proximity to an office or specific geographic area is not required, but the position is open only to candidates residing in the US, excluding the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
