About the role
As a Sr. Manager, Wealth Advisor, you will manage ongoing client relationships, deliver holistic financial planning, and provide tailored investment guidance aligned with Schwab’s approach to investing. You will collaborate closely with an experienced advisory team to support clients through complex financial decisions while helping them stay focused on long-term goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex client relationships through advanced discovery, navigation of sensitive conversations, and clear, tailored guidance.
- Prioritize high-impact activities, coordinate with partners, and communicate tradeoffs, timelines, and next steps to ensure consistent service and follow-through on multi-workstream client needs.
- Develop and communicate holistic financial plans for high-complexity scenarios, synthesizing inputs into recommendations that align with client objectives, risk profiles, and long-term outcomes.
- Coach others informally to raise advisory quality and client experience, and seek peer and leader input to integrate feedback into measurable behavior changes.
- Exercise sound judgment and risk awareness, recognizing when situations exceed scope or require additional expertise, and escalating issues with clear context and options to protect the client experience and meet fiduciary and regulatory expectations.
Requirements
- CFP® designation or CFA® designation
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active FINRA Series 7 license (obtainable within 120 days)
- Active FINRA Series 66 license (or equivalent) (obtainable within 120 days)
