About the role

Schwab Wealth Advisory is a fee-based, non-discretionary investment advisory solution built on trust, personalized service, and a fiduciary commitment to our clients. As a Sr. Manager, Wealth Advisor, you'll manage ongoing client relationships, deliver holistic financial planning, and provide tailored investment guidance aligned with Schwab's approach to investing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex client relationships through advanced discovery, sensitive conversations, and clear, tailored guidance.
  • Navigate and influence decisions to deepen trust and drive action.
  • Set an operating cadence for a book of business, prioritizing high-impact activities, coordinating with partners, and communicating tradeoffs, timelines, and next steps.
  • Develop and communicate holistic financial plans for high-complexity scenarios, synthesizing inputs into recommendations that align portfolios with client objectives, risk profile, and long-term outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with an experienced advisory team to support clients through complex financial decisions.
  • Take ownership of client outcomes and directly support client confidence, long-term retention, and advisory excellence.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex client relationships.
  • Ability to set an operating cadence for a book of business.
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate holistic financial plans.
  • Demonstrates a senior learning mindset.
  • Exercises sound judgment and risk awareness.

Qualifications

  • CFP® designation or CFA® designation.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Active FINRA Series 7 license (obtainable with a 120-day condition of employment).
  • Active FINRA Series 66 license (or equivalent) (obtainable within the first 120 days).
