About the role
Schwab Wealth Advisory is a fee-based, non-discretionary investment advisory solution built on trust, personalized service, and a fiduciary commitment to our clients. As a Sr. Manager, Wealth Advisor, you'll manage ongoing client relationships, deliver holistic financial planning, and provide tailored investment guidance aligned with Schwab's approach to investing.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex client relationships through advanced discovery, sensitive conversations, and clear, tailored guidance.
- Navigate and influence decisions to deepen trust and drive action.
- Set an operating cadence for a book of business, prioritizing high-impact activities, coordinating across partners, and communicating tradeoffs, timelines, and next steps.
- Develop and communicate holistic financial plans for high-complexity scenarios, synthesizing inputs into recommendations that align portfolios to client objectives, risk profile, and long-term outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with an experienced advisory team to support clients through complex financial decisions.
- Take ownership of client outcomes and ensure service consistency and follow-through on complex, multi-workstream client needs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex client relationships.
- Ability to set an operating cadence for a book of business.
- Proven ability to develop and communicate holistic financial plans.
- Demonstrates a senior learning mindset by seeking input from peers and leaders.
- Exercises sound judgment and risk awareness.
Qualifications
- CFP® designation or CFA® designation.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Active FINRA Series 7 license (obtainable within 120 days).
- Active FINRA Series 66 license (or equivalent) (obtainable within 120 days).
