Responsibilities

• Leads a small implementation team and stays hands‑on in the work (player‑coach role).
• Brings each partner company onto Cobalt’s core business systems, covering service and project operations, CRM, and HR.
• Owns each rollout end‑to‑end: on‑site discovery with business owners, system design and configuration, user training, testing, go‑live, and adoption.
• Runs several rollouts in parallel, makes key decisions on process and data migration, and partners with company leaders and vendors to keep scope, priorities, and timelines on track.
• Measures success by post‑launch system adoption and usage, not just by go‑live completion.

Qualifications

• Led multiple business system implementations (ERP, field service management, CRM or HRIS/payroll) end to end, from discovery through post‑launch support.
• Delivered complex rollouts with several integrated systems, data migration, and users across sales, operations, and finance.
• Managed more than one implementation at a time on fast timelines.
• Hands‑on configuration experience as a system builder or administrator.
• Owned systems after go‑live and drove adoption and continuous improvement.
• Built and ran multi‑site project plans with clear milestones and sign‑offs.
• Led or coached team members while staying hands‑on in the work.
• Experience in field services, systems integration, or private equity‑backed companies is a plus.
