About the role
The Sr. Manager for the MTAP Talent Initiative plays a critical role in aligning HR strategy with McKesson’s talent priorities. This position focuses on driving execution, improving processes, and ensuring strategic initiatives deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment: Partner with HR and Program leadership to translate MTAP objectives into actionable plans that support enterprise talent priorities.
Operational Excellence: Coordinate leadership meetings, planning sessions, and MTAP-related events to ensure time is used effectively and decisions are well-informed.
Collaboration: Work across HR teams and partner groups to streamline processes, improve workflows, and remove barriers to execution.
Governance & Facilitation: Lead and facilitate MTAP governance forums, ensuring decisions are clear and aligned with strategic goals.
Program Delivery: Manage MTAP initiatives from design through implementation, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
Data & Insights: Provide analysis and reporting to demonstrate MTAP impact and inform leadership decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and drive innovation within talent strategy.
Qualifications
Typically requires a degree or equivalent and 7+ years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of HR systems and data (Workday experience preferred).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel up to 10% and work onsite in Las Colinas (Dallas) up to one week per month.
