Social content creation

  • Write and produce posts yourself.

Brand voice and experimentation

  • Push content to be more interesting, human, and unexpected.
  • Experiment and continuously refine your approach based on performance data.

Executive and team content

  • Help leadership have a real online presence.
  • Create authentic, not corporate, content that resonates with both executives and technical teams.

Video and multimedia content

  • Shape narratives and co-produce content that’s worth watching, not just content that exists.

Content calendar and editorial ops

  • Manage blog posts, newsletters, campaign content, and launches.
  • Coordinate with product and demand generation to ensure nothing important goes unannounced.

Technical translation

  • Deeply understand PointFive’s product, including DeepWaste, Capture → Detect → Resolve, and what makes the platform unique.
  • Turn complex technical concepts into content that’s accessible to both engineers and non-engineers.

AEO/SEO content

  • Create content that appeals to both humans and AI-driven search engines.
  • Understand how AI search is changing content distribution and build that thinking into everything you create.

Performance and iteration

  • Track what’s working in HubSpot and Amplitude, share learnings, and use them to improve content.

  • AI-Fluent: You use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT daily to draft, edit, and produce content.

  • Non B2B Brain: Your content references come from outside the SaaS playbook.
  • Technically Willing: You’re not an engineer but aren’t afraid of cloud jargon and can learn what EC2 Spot waste means.
  • Low Ego, High Output: You’d rather ship something imperfect and learn than wait for perfect and miss the moment.

Experience We're Seeking

  • 5–8 years in content, social, or brand; B2B SaaS experience a plus.
  • A portfolio that shows range: posts that performed, formats you invented, experiments that failed interestingly.
  • Proven ability to write for technical audiences without losing the humans in the room.
  • Experience owning social content end-to-end — strategy, creation, publishing, analysis.
  • Experience with AI content tools as part of your core workflow, not as an afterthought.

Bonus Points

  • Background in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, FinOps, or developer tooling.
  • Experience producing or scripting video content.
  • Active presence in technical communities — Reddit, GitHub, Discord, X.
  • Built a content program from near-zero and know what that actually takes.
  • Have opinions about what makes B2B content terrible — and have fixed it.
