Responsibilities

• Manage a team of sales personnel handling new group health care and ancillary sales through brokers
• Implement new sales goals
• Ensure the achievement of new sales goals
• Ensure working relationships with brokers
• Education of brokers
• Build relationships and work across the company to achieve/exceed goals
• Ability and willingness to travel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years managed care sales, account management or servicing experience OR 11 years managed care sales, account management, or servicing experience
• Current, valid State Insurance License or obtain completely processed license within 90 days
• 2 years leadership/supervisory/management experience
• Thorough knowledge of managed care products, processes, and trends
• Leadership and mentoring skills
• Negotiation, presentation, sales, and financial skills
• Analytical and system skills to develop and analyze reports and prepare reports/presentations for leadership
• Verbal and written communications skills to include people management, negotiation, presentations, building relationships internally and externally and business writing
• Skills to handle multiple priorities
• Experience addressing customer needs
• Experience building strong broker relations
• Knowledge of industry and business intelligence
• Ability and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
• Experience with sales systems (such as Salesforce.com)

Pay

Compensation: $98,300.00 - $147,300.00
