Sr Sales Manager
About the role
The Senior Sales Manager at Jordan’s Furniture is responsible for managing and directing the Sales Team to meet sales and profit goals. Key responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, coaching, supervising, motivating, evaluating, scheduling, and disciplining Sales Consultants. The role also involves identifying training and procedural needs, reviewing and analyzing sales reports, responding to escalated customer service issues, and monitoring the sales floor.
Responsibilities
- Interviewing, hiring, coaching, supervising, motivating, evaluating, scheduling, and disciplining Sales Consultants
- Identifying training and procedural needs to increase sales productivity; making recommendations to Store Manager and implementing necessary changes
- Reviewing and analyzing sales reports to monitor the productivity level of Sales Consultants and ensuring that all budgeted sales goals are met
- Responding to escalated customer service issues and resolving problems
- Monitoring sales floor to ensure all guests are being assisted by sales personnel
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years combined sales and management in high volume major retailer or equivalent education/experience
- Solid understanding of product knowledge as it pertains to the furniture industry
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Benefits
At Jordan’s Furniture, we offer a competitive compensation package including a pay range of $85,000 - $95,000 per year. We believe in providing a supportive and inclusive environment where employees can thrive and grow.
