CORE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Masters Degree or equivalent in their specialty preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including:
- Implementing community-based participatory research projects and collecting data.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
- Ability to establish department goals, and objectives that support the strategic plan.
- Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
- Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Knowledge and comfortability with diverse populations.
- Designing recruitment materials and QR access codes.
- Creating semi-structured interviews.
- Creating coding/thematic guides.
- Preparing materials/content for focus group discussions.
- Preparing research protocols and standard operating procedures for data collection.
- Exporting datasets from RedCap, Qualtrics, and Network Canvas.
- Cleaning, managing and verifying data quality.
- Travel to different sites to implement and supervise the implementation of the project.
- Must have their own transportation and a valid driver license.

Core Responsibilities
- Conducts meetings with research staff and ensures functions are coordinated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provides technical support and resolves operational problems.
- Oversees department budget and identifies areas of opportunity for cost reduction.
- Aids in the preparation and publication of manuscripts.
- Recruits and trains research staff and prepares performance reports and disciplinary recommendations for the leadership team.
- Analyzes reports, data briefs, and auxiliary publications for new topic modules.
- Defines and produces indicators for a data visualization platform.
- Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures.
- Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.
