About the Opportunity
The Sr Manager, People Team Operations leads global HR operations to ensure consistent processes, compliance, and effective coordination across international sites. This role oversees HR operations standards, cross-functional projects, compliance audit readiness, and process improvements while balancing global requirements with local needs. The position plays a key role in strengthening operational efficiency and supporting a consistent employee experience worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Align HR operations processes across international sites, including onboarding, offboarding, data integrity, HRIS workflows, and policy management.
- Serve as the primary resource for site-specific HR operational inquiries while balancing global standards with local requirements.
- Collaborate with regional HR business partners to standardize procedures and address operational gaps.
- Manage the People Team project portfolio, including prioritization, timelines, stakeholder communications, and project retrospectives.
- Lead cross-functional HR initiatives such as HRIS upgrades, policy rollouts, and engagement surveys from initiation through completion.
- Maintain project tracking and reporting to provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Lead compliance audit readiness across all sites in coordination with Legal, Finance, and site leadership.
- Manage audit schedules, evidence gathering, documentation, and follow-up for HR compliance reviews.
- Develop and continuously improve global operating standards, including SOPs, governance frameworks, service metrics, and change management practices.
- Standardize HR workflows across regions while accommodating applicable local requirements and practices.
- Drive process improvements through simplification, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs and recommend data-driven improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR operations, HR program or project management, or a related cross-functional operations role.
- Experience supporting global or multi-site organizations.
- Proven experience leading compliance audits involving areas such as SOX, labor law, or data privacy.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple transactions, inquiries, and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with global data privacy frameworks such as GDPR and DPDP.
- Knowledge of labor relations practices, including works councils or Betriebsrat environments.
- Exposure to compensation, benefits administration, and payroll processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS, aerospace, or global multi-entity organizations.
- CIPD, SHRM-CP, or similar professional certification.
Pay Range
$143,000–$175,000 per year. Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, market conditions, and business considerations.
