About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Manager, People Team Operations based in United States. This is a strategic HR operations leadership role responsible for keeping global People Team processes aligned, efficient, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Own and align HR operations processes across global sites, including onboarding and offboarding, HRIS workflows, data integrity, policy administration, and related operational activities.
- Act as a trusted resource for regional HR operations questions, balancing global standards with local requirements and practices.
- Partner with regional HR business partners to identify process gaps, establish consistent workflows, and improve operational effectiveness across geographies.
- Manage the People Team project portfolio, including prioritization, timelines, stakeholder communication, risk tracking, and post-project retrospectives.
- Lead cross-functional HR initiatives such as HRIS upgrades, policy implementations, employee engagement surveys, and other strategic programs from kickoff through completion.
- Build and maintain project tracking, reporting, and governance mechanisms that provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
- Lead compliance audit readiness across global locations, coordinating requirements related to SOX, labor regulations, data privacy, and other HR-related compliance matters.
- Establish and continuously improve People Team operating standards, including SOPs, governance frameworks, process documentation, service metrics, and change-management practices.
- Drive process simplification, automation, and AI-enabled operational improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
- Maintain operational KPIs, analyze performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Cook up and coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams independently while maintaining high standards of organization, execution, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in HR operations, HR program or project management, or a comparable cross-functional operations leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting global, international, or multi-site organizations with complex operational requirements.

- Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, priorities, and stakeholders without relying on a large team for delegation.
- Hightly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing complex transactions, operational questions, and competing priorities with limited supervision.
- Strong understanding of global HR processes, operational governance, policy administration, and process standardization.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with data privacy frameworks such as GDPR or DPDP and labor relations practices such as works councils or Betriebsrat is preferred.
- Experience within SaaS, aerospace, or other global, multi-entity organizations is advantageous.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- CIPD, SHRM-CP, or an equivalent professional certification is a plus.
Benefits
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $143,000 to $175,000, depending on experience, qualifications, market conditions, and business considerations.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance with employer-paid health premiums.
- Open paid time off policy.
- 401(k) plan with up to 10% company matching and immediate vesting.
- 12 weeks of paid maternity leave.
- 12 weeks of paid paternity leave.
- Flight training rewards.
- Remote work arrangement.
- Opportunities to contribute to challenging global initiatives and make a direct impact on People Team operations.
