Our Senior Managers are responsible for all budgetary, people development, and operations objectives. The Site Leader oversees all aspects of operation or functions at the site.
Responsibilities
- Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the Fulfillment Center (FC) to meet and exceed business plan.
- Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.
- Sets and clarifies requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers.
- Measures performance, provides feedback, and holds Ops Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments.
- Leverages Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the functional area.
- Takes proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and the network.
- Works closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other Sr. Operations Managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives, as well as providing needed support for other staff initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 7+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects, or experience in Logistics, Distribution, or Fulfillment processes.
- Experience delivering results, setting strategy, and running a large volume and high-profile business.
- Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques.
- Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing third-party resources on a regional/national scale.
- Experience leading large contingent workforce programs.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering (any domain), Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up.
- Experience working with changing priorities and schedules.
- Interest in long-term career development.
Pay
USA, IL, SAUGET - $135,000.00 - $182,700.00 USD annually
