Sr. Manager, Operations Financial Planning & Analysis

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Operations Financial Planning & Analysis to serve as the primary financial partner to our Supply Chain leadership team. This is a hybrid position based out of our Global HQ in Rosemont, IL — Monday and Friday remote, Tuesday through Thursday in-office collaboration days.
About the role
In this role, you will lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across the global supply chain network, including procurement, installation, transportation logistics, and Service. You will translate complex logistics data into actionable financial strategies that optimize total landed costs, strengthen network efficiency, and help leaders make confident business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across the global supply chain network, including procurement, installation, transportation logistics, and Service.
- Partner with Supply Chain leadership, including global operations leaders and global supply chain teams, to generate insights and drive business decisions.
- Translate complex logistics and operations data into actionable financial strategies that optimize total landed costs and improve network efficiency.
- Provide finance support for monthly close analytics, deck preparation, and executive-level commentary for total operations reporting.
- Forecast domestic freight lines and collaborate with international supply chain managers to optimize freight and installation by region and country.
- Support planning and analysis across key areas including outbound freight, installation, Service sales and supply chain, warranty and extended service contracts, global PPV, inbound freight, inventory adjustments, scrap, and other COGS.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness through ad hoc analysis, strategic cost-benefit analysis, and Finance transformation projects.
- Partner with IT and Accounting to help integrate Service processes and reduce manual workstreams.
- Use AI tools, including Claude, to drive efficiency in processes and planning inputs.
- Build and improve self-service financial dashboards that empower logistics managers to make cost-conscious daily decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA is a plus.
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant time in FP&A; experience supporting supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or operations is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience leading, mentoring, or developing team members, and partnering directly with senior leadership.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills, plus hands-on experience with ERP and planning systems (Oracle or similar) and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong financial planning and analysis experience, with the ability to support global supply chain, logistics, Service, and operations leaders.
- Experience with forecasting, monthly close analytics, P&L support, cost-benefit analysis, and operational performance reporting.
- Ability to translate financial results and operational data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders.
- A proactive, independent working style with the ability to think ahead, identify risks, and move work forward.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
- A results-oriented mindset, with the willingness to work through barriers and get the job done.
- Ability to identify structural cost-out opportunities across the network and support annual productivity targets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex financial information clear, useful, and decision-ready.

Pay
The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $109,400 - $153,800 annually. This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength’s annual Manager Incentive Plan to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of bonus varies based on company and individual performance goals and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
