The Opportunity
We're scaling fast, and the infrastructure behind how our Care Coordination team learns, ramps, and maintains quality needs to scale. We need a builder to own the architecture of learning and quality at Honeydew from the ground up — someone who can turn ad hoc onboarding and reactive QA into a system that scales to 60,000+ patients and beyond.
What You'll Build (Your First 6 Months)
- A continuous training program with measurable information retention — targeting a 25% improvement over baseline.
- A modernized QA function, evaluated against AI-assisted tools and processes, so QA becomes an accurate reflection of a Care Coordinator's real performance.
- A new hire onboarding program cut from 6 weeks to 4 — without sacrificing new hire sentiment or readiness.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Design and scale a structured onboarding academy and ongoing skill-development curriculum — shifting from time-based training to competency-based progression.
- Build and own a QA framework with clear KPIs, closing the loop so audit findings become fast, targeted coaching rather than delayed scorecards.
- Partner with Care Coordination leadership to surface frontline feedback and training needs, and with Product/Engineering to keep training current as workflows change.
- Build the systems and dashboards that let leadership catch quality and performance issues proactively, not after the fact.
The Non-Negotiables
- 5+ years in learning & development, quality assurance, or workforce performance leadership.
- Demonstrated experience building structured programs from the ground up.
- Experience leading or designing QA frameworks with measurable KPIs, and tying training programs to performance outcomes.
- Experience leading managers or senior ICs.
- Strong data fluency and comfort building or interpreting performance dashboards.
The Nice-to-Haves
- Deep understanding of compliance, documentation standards, and regulatory risk in healthcare
- Healthcare operations, telehealth, or multi-state healthcare experience
- Background in adult learning theory or instructional design
- Experience partnering with product teams to build in-house solutions
- Leverage, Six Sigma, or process improvement training
- Experience building certification or competency-based progression programs
- Exposure to AI-driven learning tools or knowledge systems
- Experience scaling teams in high-growth startups, including call center or support teams
