Responsibilities
- Facilitate project completion by coordinating team activities.
- Build and manage a team of project managers, setting clear standards for integration.
- Oversee and manage project progress and alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
- Coordinate multiple project management members across numerous simultaneous projects.
- Support the delivery of system-wide marketing initiatives.
- Oversee and lead necessary staff and stakeholders to set project scopes and develop project plans.
- Monitor project risks and scope creep, identifying and presenting solutions to management.
- Compare budgetary and timeline restrictions, ensuring the brand is followed and researching innovations to improve project quality.
- Develop personnel and operational budgets and monitor spending to maximize cost-effectiveness.
- Produce financial and operational reports as requested.
- Provide feedback on employee performance and track progress.
- Train and educate on project management tools and systems as needed.
- Report and update the Director on team progress and processes.
- Collaborate with Process Improvement and Business Support functional areas to justify and prioritize Automation projects.
- Work with the Quality Audit, Training, and Education team to implement automations and train citizen developers.
Qualifications
- Strong process and organizational skills, with a customer service and relationship management orientation.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), flexibility, and adaptability to change.
- Able to evaluate project team readiness and recommend necessary training.
- Experience in project management principles and their successful application.
- Understanding of business needs and ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and solve problems.
- Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external parties.
- Conceptual knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and ability to organize and synthesize information.
- Understanding of healthcare administration and marketing principles.
- Excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, and ability to establish strong relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of related project management experience, with 5+ in healthcare and/or marketing.
- Experience in healthcare marketing leadership, mentoring project managers, and working with diverse teams.
- Management experience or equivalent.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
