About the role
Playfly Sports is seeking a Manager, Corporate Partnerships to join the team at Penn State University. The ideal candidate should be driven, coachable, and have 5+ years of direct sales experience in sponsorship sales/corporate partnerships within collegiate or professional sports.
Responsibilities
- Aid in developing and executing a sales plan
- Identify potential sponsors through networking and research
- Create sales presentations and contracts
- Develop key marketing objectives with clients
- Represent the university sports property professionally
- Research sports sponsorship industry trends
- Leverage Playfly business units for new business areas
- Prospect, meet, and close new and renewal corporate sponsorships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with integrated and conceptual sales
- Outstanding communication skills
- Demonstrated professional sales presentation skills
- Frequent travel required
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Sedentary role
- Available for game days and evening athletic events
- Available to travel for client presentations
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to generate and present ideas/concepts
- Understanding of sports sponsorship industry trends
- Knowledge of Playfly business units

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
