About the role

Playfly Sports is seeking a Manager, Corporate Partnerships to join the team at Penn State University. The ideal candidate should be driven, coachable, and have 5+ years of direct sales experience in sponsorship sales/corporate partnerships within collegiate or professional sports.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in developing and executing a sales plan
  • Identify potential sponsors through networking and research
  • Create sales presentations and contracts
  • Develop key marketing objectives with clients
  • Represent the university sports property professionally
  • Research sports sponsorship industry trends
  • Leverage Playfly business units for new business areas
  • Prospect, meet, and close new and renewal corporate sponsorships

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with integrated and conceptual sales
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Demonstrated professional sales presentation skills
  • Frequent travel required

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Sedentary role
  • Available for game days and evening athletic events
  • Available to travel for client presentations

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to generate and present ideas/concepts
  • Understanding of sports sponsorship industry trends
  • Knowledge of Playfly business units

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
