Brief Description PCS is looking for an experienced, hands-on HR leader to help lead the day-to-day delivery of HR across the organization. This is a broad role for someone who has worked across multiple areas of HR and is equally comfortable advising a leader, managing a sensitive employee issue, recruiting for a critical role, assessing talent, or stepping in to solve an HR problem that needs ownership. This person will be a senior member of the HR team and a trusted partner to leaders and employees, with significant responsibility for ensuring HR delivers consistently while helping strengthen how we manage talent, performance and our organization. Job Responsibilities What You'll Own Day-to-Day HR Leadership: Serve as a senior HR leader in New Jersey, providing hands-on support to leaders and employees and taking ownership of day-to-day HR priorities, issues and decisions across the business. Business Partnership: Partner directly with leaders and managers to understand their businesses and teams and provide practical guidance on organizational needs, employee issues, performance, team effectiveness and people decisions. Recruiting: Lead and personally manage recruiting for key roles as needed—from understanding the business need and defining the role through sourcing, interviewing, selection and offer. Partner with the broader HR team to ensure we are getting the right people into the right roles. Talent & Organization: Help leaders understand the talent on their teams, identify strong performers and emerging talent, surface capability gaps and development needs, and identify opportunities to move and develop people across PCS. Turn those conversations into practical actions. Performance & Manager Support: Coach managers on setting clear expectations, providing meaningful feedback, addressing performance issues and making sound people decisions. Help strengthen manager ownership and accountability for their teams. Employee Relations: Independently manage employee relations matters, investigations, performance concerns and other sensitive situations with strong judgment, consistency and appropriate partnership with Legal and leadership. HR Programs & Initiatives: Lead and support company-wide people priorities, including performance management, employee development, organizational changes, engagement and other initiatives as business needs evolve. HR Execution: Work closely with HR Operations, Payroll & Benefits and regional HR colleagues to ensure the fundamentals of HR work well, issues are resolved quickly and employees and managers have a consistent experience. Continuous Improvement: Challenge how we work. Identify opportunities to stop, simplify or automate work, including leveraging AI and technology to make HR more efficient and effective. Ownership & Leadership: Take ownership of complex HR priorities and projects, work independently across the business, represent HR effectively with leaders, and drive work through to completion with limited direction. Be willing to step outside of defined responsibilities when something needs to get done. Requirements What We're Looking For We're looking for a well-rounded HR leader rather than a specialist—someone with strong generalist depth who can operate across recruiting, employee relations, performance, talent, organizational effectiveness and the everyday realities of supporting a growing business.
