Responsibilities

  • Oversight and evaluation of requirement gathering and configuration of Workday Security to align with security and audit strategy.
  • Review security elements of change control documentation for audit compliance, including staff, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain security-related tenant settings, user access, and applicable security parameters; perform platform lock-outs as needed.
  • Lead security workstream for roadmap initiatives, evaluating impact of new requirements.
  • Troubleshoot security-related issues escalated by HRIS Managers.
  • Lead internal and external audit activities and requests; prepare and review security documentation per audit protocols.
  • Design, implement, and execute recurring audits for internal team members; recommend solutions to audit strategy.
  • Oversee compliance aspects including data privacy and record retention procedures.
  • Review configuration design decisions for alignment with standards and audit requirements.
  • Maintain Core HCM business processes in Workday; assist with requirement gathering for configurations, enhancements, and reports.
  • Respond to escalated issues from HR Operations; support data flows between Workday and downstream vendors.
  • Create and maintain HR custom reports and dashboards using advanced Workday reporting tools.
  • Support reporting requirements for Workday security operations and audits.
  • Cook up HCM timelines, upgrade testing, and enhancement cutover testing.
  • Ensure system configuration stability and integrity through audits; monitor Workday Community for updates.
  • Collaborate with HR Operations on technical impacts and troubleshooting for Workday upgrades.
  • Monitor and track Workday Customer Care cases and issue resolution related to HCM and security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least six years of experience in Workday Security Configuration with multiple Workday disciplines (HCM and Recruiting).
  • At least four years of experience with technical backend Workday business processes, calculations, and reporting.
  • At least four years of experience with proven analysis and problem-solving skills in human resources information systems.
  • Excellent organizational, teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Background

  • Workday Security PRO Certification strongly desired.
  • Experience with modules such as Payroll, Benefits, and Integrations preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Project Management experience strongly preferred.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position in NJ is $130,000 – $180,000 Plus Bonus. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
