About the role

The Senior Manager, Global Commercial Operations plays a critical role in shaping and executing globally consistent commercial processes, policies, and decision-making standards. This role partners closely with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and the Head of Global Commercial Operations to ensure commercial decisions are transparent, well-governed, and aligned with enterprise priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design, implementation, execution, and oversight of Commercial Operations processes and policies to support clear, efficient, and compliant decision-making.
  • Manage the full Investment Committee (IC) lifecycle, including intake, structuring, coordination, governance, and delivery of complete, decision-ready materials to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop, standardize, and continuously improve commercial frameworks, IC templates, documentation standards, and operating procedures to increase transparency and reduce escalations.
  • Serve as an enterprise steward for global commercial policies, ensuring consistency, accuracy, version control, and effective change management across regions.
  • Provide commercial guidance and interpretation of Financial Authority Policy (FAP) requirements, oversee approval tracking, and maintain document control standards.
  • Partner with Sales, PMG, Investments, Finance, and other stakeholders to streamline approval workflows, analytics, and reporting tied to commercial agreements and operations.
  • Create dashboards, conduct financial and operational analyses, and synthesize data to assess asset-level performance, portfolio profitability, and staffing needs.
  • Support strategic initiatives led by the Head of Global Commercial Operations through project management, prioritization, and execution support.
  • Participate in technology and systems initiatives, including guiding the development of internal AI tools and supporting ERP, CRM, and BI enablement.
  • Scope, manage, and coordinate offsite and offshore resources, consultants, and contractors supporting Global Commercial Operations initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Operations, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in investment banking, real estate, asset management, commercial operations, or business operations roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or manager-level role overseeing cross-functional and/or global teams in a multinational or multi-regional environment.
  • Demonstrated success driving strategic initiatives, process improvements, and governance frameworks across commercial functions.
  • Strong understanding of real estate investment analytics and commercial operations, including sales operations, deal desk support, contract management, and compliance.
  • Prominent ability to analyze complex financial and operational data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Experience with Financial Authority Policies (FAP) or similar financial and contract approval governance models.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce, SAP, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Exposure to technology implementations, systems optimization, and data-driven or AI-enabled solutions.

Pay

$127,600 - $175,450 annually.
