Responsibilities
- Work closely with business unit leaders in developing and executing development and expansion strategy for long-term growth of the Popeyes brand
- Market the expansion opportunity externally and attract the highest quality prospective franchisees
- Build and lead financial models, outputs and scenarios for diligence and deal structuring
- Conduct due diligence on prospective franchisees, including in-person Discovery Days with prospective franchisees
- Negotiate development agreements with prospective franchisees
- Liaise between Development, Franchising and Field teams to gather necessary insights to drive negotiations
- Develop and deliver presentations both internally and externally to executive level leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in business development, corporate finance, franchising, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and project management skills
- Proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling, including scenario planning and deal structuring
- Ability to collaborate with different departments to collect variety of data and structure pitch to potential franchisee partners
