About the role
The Sr. Manager, Environmental Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) is responsible for leading and ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, safety, and security standards across Ocean Spray operations in 19 locations. This role develops and implements company-wide EHS policies, leveraging industry expertise, best practices, and functional knowledge to establish comprehensive, compliant, and effective standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and implement company-wide EHS&S policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Act as the leader of the Ocean Spray EHS Network, setting expectations, measuring performance, and leading engagement through audits, meetings, and initiatives
- Chair the Environmental Health & Safety Compliance Council, collaborating with senior leadership to review performance and drive improvements
- Provide direction, coaching, and oversight to plant EHS personnel to ensure consistent application of corporate policies and compliance standards
- Serve as the primary escalation point and technical authority for EHS matters across all facilities

Requirements
- Deep understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations in manufacturing and corporate environments
- Knowledge of U.S. Chilean, and Canadian federal, state/provincial, and local regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of EHS management systems, policies, and compliance frameworks
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across all organizational levels
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities
- High sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience in food, beverage, or manufacturing environments
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM), particularly ammonia systems
- Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
Education
A Bachelor's or University Degree is required.
Work Experience
At least 7 years of experience is required.
Pay
$147,200 - $202,400
Schedule
This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays and Fridays remote.
