About the role

This role oversees the reliability and efficiency of financial and operational systems across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Aids or leads financial system configuration and onboarding for new properties and business lines
  • Coordinates credit card merchant accounts and payment processor setup with vendors
  • Establishes revenue mapping, POS item categories, and financial integration logic to ensure accurate reporting
  • Cross-checks setup of payment types and cross-business package configurations
  • Ensures the accurate integration of operational data into enterprise financial systems
  • Maintains strong data governance standards to ensure financial reporting accuracy across systems and platforms
  • Partners with Accounting & Finance and IT to ensure operational transactions are appropriately mapped and reported within the financial structure
  • Manages financial and operational platform relationships
  • Coordinating system configurations and integrations
  • Ensuring vendor compliance with banking and KYC requirements
  • Serves as a change agent by identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and remove operational friction points
  • Pairs with Accounting Operations and Finance teams to implement scalable process improvements and automation solutions
  • Develops templates and workflows that support operational and financial processes
  • Supports operational leaders with system configuration, financial reporting capabilities, and data transparency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business analytics, information systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial systems, accounting operations, business analytics, and/or hospitality finance
  • Experience working with ERP and financial reporting platforms such as JDE, ProfitSword, PMS or similar systems preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-property or multi-business unit environments is highly desirable

  • Change management and organizational skills: The ability to drive organizational change and manage stakeholder expectations is critical for implementing successful BI initiatives
  • Ability to provide guidance on best practices for financial system usage, data governance, and reporting consistency
  • Ability to help drive alignment between operational workflows and financial reporting structures
  • Ability to provide system training and guidance to operational teams to ensure consistent use of financial systems and reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively
