Sr. Manager, Ambulatory Access Center
This is a 100% remote position. CHLA requires a primary residence in California prior to start date. Will require on-site visits based on department needs.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, shift will vary between 7:30 AM-5:30 PM
About the Role
The Sr. Manager, Ambulatory Access Center provides operational leadership for Centralized Scheduling, Referral Intake, and Registration. This role leads managers and supervisors in executing departmental priorities, streamlining workflows, and driving operational excellence. In partnership with Capacity Management, Clinical Leadership, and key stakeholders, the Sr. Manager identifies access improvement opportunities, implements sustainable operational solutions, and advances organizational goals related to patient access, referral conversion, schedule utilization, and service excellence.
Requirements
- 7+ years of related operations management experience
- 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in ambulatory access, patient access, referral management, healthcare contact center or related operation
Qualifications
Education/Licensure/Certification
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Health Management or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Preferred: Master’s degree
- Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Preferred: Experience designing scheduling templates and scaling new patient access technologies, including AI
