Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize Linux-based systems for HPC environments.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and security updates.
• Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot system issues.
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system availability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Experience with HPC systems and workload management tools.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with system monitoring tools like Nagios or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of storage technologies including SANs and NAS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
