Senior Linux Systems Administrator / HPC

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux systems in production
• Write and maintain scripts using Python or Bash
• Support networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP and DNS
• Manage configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
• Support HPC or clustered computing environments
• Work with distributed storage technologies such as ZFS, Lustre, or similar
• Use container tools like Docker or Kubernetes
• Collaborate with researchers and other teams
• Take ownership of critical systems

Requirements

• Strong experience administering Linux systems in production
• Experience with scripting using Python or Bash
• Background in systems, servers, or infrastructure support
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP and DNS
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
• Experience supporting HPC or clustered computing environments
• Familiarity with distributed storage such as ZFS, Lustre, or similar
• Experience with container tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Exposure to multi-platform environments including macOS and Linux
• Experience with monitoring systems and performance tuning

Qualifications

• Currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
