Communities of Practice
- Create workshops, institutes, and communities of practice that foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among faculty.
- Develop and facilitate ongoing learning communities to support faculty growth and professional development.
Microcredentials
- Design and develop stackable microcredentials that align with institutional priorities and faculty needs.
- Implement and evaluate microcredential programs to ensure they meet quality standards and enhance learner outcomes.
Facilitation and Coaching
- Coach faculty subject matter experts and support learning design partners throughout the development process.
- Provide guidance and feedback to help faculty members design and deliver effective learning experiences.
Project Management
- Manage multiple strategic projects while ensuring successful delivery, stakeholder alignment, quality standards, and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and meet deadlines.
Technology Expertise
- Leverage Canvas LMS and other learning technologies to create engaging digital courses and learning experiences.
- Develop multimedia learning assets using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, H5P, Camtasia, Canva, Microsoft 365, and AI-powered learning technologies.
- Apply adult learning theory, UDL, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles to create effective learning solutions.
Learning Analytics and Evaluation
- Analyze learning analytics, evaluation results, and learner feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Recommend emerging technologies that enhance engagement and effectiveness based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, Adult Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Organizational Learning, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in learning experience design, instructional design, faculty development, organizational learning, or professional development.
- 5+ years of experience working in higher education environments.
- Experience designing faculty learning programs, professional development initiatives, or stackable microcredentials preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Canvas LMS and enterprise learning technologies.
- Experience developing multimedia learning assets using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, H5P, Camtasia, Canva, Microsoft 365, and similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory, curriculum development, assessment design, educational evaluation, and instructional design methodologies.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards including ADA, WCAG, and Universal Design for Learning principles.
- Ability to leverage generative AI tools to improve learning design processes, efficiency, and learner engagement.
- Strong project management, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and continuous improvement mindset.
Pay
Competitive salary range of approximately $70,696 to $124,230, depending on experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
