About the role
GAI’s Community Solutions Group seeks a Senior Landscape Architect based in its Orlando office. The ideal candidate will have approximately 15 years of experience in planning and designing master-planned communities, neighborhoods, and various community facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales and client management for existing and new strategic clients.
- Work with other senior leadership to support and execute GAI’s multi-disciplined efforts.
- Negotiate or assist with negotiating contracts.
- Contribute to GAI's public profile by actively participating in leadership roles in the community and/or professional organizations.
- Lead design for master-planned communities and individual neighborhoods.
- Lead design and production of conceptual design and construction documents for Landscape Architectural projects.
- Lead in the management of client communication, project staffing, and project coordination.
- Produce project graphics in the plan, section, and 3-D / Perspective views.
- Conduct site design, inventory, and analysis.
- Participate in teams and project meetings.
- Conduct bidding support, RFI’s, and Construction Phase Services.
- Collaborate with our team across a broad range of project types.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University program.
- Licensure in the State of Florida.
- Demonstrated experience with free-hand sketches, digital rendering; master planning, site planning, and detailed site design; AutoCAD; Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp, Lumion; Landscape Construction Design; and strong written and communication skills.
- FDOT experience is a plus, but not required.
