Sr Landscape Architect

About the role

GAI’s Community Solutions Group seeks a Senior Landscape Architect in its Orlando office. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in planning and designing various community facilities and places. They will collaborate with all aspects of the Community Solutions Group service group and other departments at GAI Consultants.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design leadership and production of conceptual design and construction documents for Landscape Architectural projects.
• Aid in client communication and project coordination.
• Create project graphics in plan, section, and 3-D / Perspective views.
• Conduct site design, inventory, and analysis.
• Participate in teams and project meetings.
• Support bidding processes, respond to RFIs, and provide Construction Phase Services.
• Collaborate with the team on a wide variety of project types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
• Licensed in the State of Florida.
• Demonstrated experience with free-hand sketches, digital rendering, master site planning, and detailed site design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Lumion.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Experience with FDOT is preferred but not required.
