Sr IT Support Analyst
About the role
The Sr IT Support Analyst at O'Reilly Auto Parts provides end-user support, troubleshoots and resolves computer hardware and software issues, and assists in managing internal client needs. This role requires previous service desk or support desk experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and advanced technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice, training, and assistance to users to resolve queries and ensure applications/website capabilities are well understood.
- First level troubleshooting and support for incidents related to computer systems, servers, software, point of sale hardware, store operations, telephony, LAN (Local Area Network) & WAN (Wide Area Network).
- Support data management systems and help others get the most out of knowledge management systems.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education.
- Work independently and in a team setting, developing own capabilities through participation in assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training, and coaching.
Requirements
- Previous Service Desk or O'Reilly’s support desk experience.
- Ability to analyze computer problems and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to perform research and think creatively.
- Advanced technical/computer knowledge.
Skills
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence software.
- Troubleshooting and understanding TCP/IP Networking fundamentals.
- Bilingual written and verbal skills.
- Comp TIA Linux+ Certification.
- ITIL Foundations.
