Sr Technical Support Analyst
About the role
CJ Schwan’s, a company known for iconic pizzas, global flavors, and timeless desserts, seeks a Senior Technical Support Analyst to join their team in Marshall, MN. This role supports, manages, and enhances IT systems infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and secure environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain desktop/laptop hardware, software, and standardized system images, including updates and patches.
- Lead Windows, Office, and client application deployments in partnership with engineering and development teams.
- Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for incident and service requests and ensure accurate inventory of all end user computing devices.
- Monitor system performance, strengthen endpoint security, and respond to critical cybersecurity events.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure service quality and technology alignment.
- Research, recommend, and integrate new technologies to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior support staff.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience, including Technical Support Analyst experience.
- Expertise in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and scripting tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, operating systems, and networking.
- Solid understanding of network concepts and IT best practices.
- Proven ability to deliver effective, client-focused IT solutions.
- Motivated to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Experience with ITIL methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud-based services and platforms.
- Experience with ITIL, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, and Python.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $54,000 to $72,000 annually, with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance.
