About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize advanced geospatial technologies to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain geospatial applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement geospatial solutions
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS infrastructure
• Perform software testing and debugging to ensure application quality
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), or a related field
• 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development or related field
• Proficiency in ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Experience with geospatial data analysis and visualization tools
• Knowledge of SQL and database management
• Understanding of web development concepts and technologies
• Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms
