Sr HVAC Technician
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sr HVAC Technician for a full-time, on-site role in Merrifield, Virginia. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee mechanical operations, demonstrating thorough knowledge and skill in the mechanical field, including plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee mechanical operations.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
- Ensure all work complies with state and local mechanical codes.
- Demonstrate successful performance of job functions in the mechanical field.
- Respond to emergencies as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of commercial HVAC experience is required.
- A valid VA HVAC Journeyman or Master License is mandatory.
Skills
- Thorough knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
- Strong technical skills in mechanical system maintenance.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Knowledgeable on state and local mechanical codes.
