Sr. HRIT Analyst
Position Summary
We are seeking a senior-level HRIT Analyst who will oversee, configure, and optimize Human Resource Information Systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday, etc.) to meet organizational needs. This role will drive the development, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday, UKG) and integrations, and lead system upgrades. The Senior HRIT Analyst will collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to implement system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and work collaboratively with third-party vendors on system updates and maintenance. This individual will have a deep understanding of HR processes and data management, showcasing a high proficiency in system configuration, customization, and advanced reporting, including expertise in SQL or similar data query languages as a plus. They will be detail-oriented, with a meticulous approach to managing requirements gathering and user testing, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to provide data-driven insights that enhance HR strategies and operations. Demonstrating strong communication and collaboration capabilities, they will effectively translate technical information into user-friendly language.
Position Responsibilities
- System Administration & Maintenance: Manage day-to-day operations of the HRIS, including system configuration, workflow updates, and data accuracy. Oversee data management processes, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance within the HRIS. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors to resolve technical challenges.
- Technical Implementation: Lead or assist in the deployment of new HR technology solutions, system enhancements, and process improvements.
- Integrations Management: Maintain data integrations between HR systems, payroll, and external vendors.
- Testing, Implementation & Upgrades: Lead the implementation of new HR systems, upgrades, or modules, collaborating with HRIT functional team to manage functional and user-acceptance testing.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve system efficiency including customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules. Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing information services and databases; recommend and implement solutions.
- Data Reporting & Analytics: Generate, analyze, and present reports (e.g., dashboards) on HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years specifically managing HRIS platforms.
- Proficiency with major HRIS platforms such as Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, Oracle HCM, or UKG.
- Experience with system configuration, integration, and user permission management.
- Experience with SQL, API management, or advanced data visualization tools.
- Advanced reporting and data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, or built-in HRIS tools).
- Knowledge of HR data security, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Multiple full lifecycle ERP implementations from requirements through deployment.
- Track record of post-implementation platform optimization and stabilization, with experience in upgrade management.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
