Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and hiring strategies.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and offer administration.
- Career onboarding and new hire orientation programs.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers.
- Aid in employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
- Support performance management, coaching, and employee development programs.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data integrity.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Aid in employee handbook updates and policy implementation.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain I-9, E-Verify, and employment documentation requirements.
- Partner with legal counsel on employment-related matters when needed.
- Support compensation review cycles and salary benchmarking.
- Administer employee benefit programs and leave management.
- Career immigration matters including H-1B, TN, CPT, OPT, and permanent residency processes.
- Aid in equity administration and employee stock option communications.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
- Aid in organizational development and succession planning efforts.
- Participate in HR system implementations and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience. Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance. Experience supporting recruiting and employee relations. Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, payroll, and benefits administration. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- PREFERRED: Experience in semiconductor, technology, AI, or startup environments. Experience supporting immigration and global workforce programs. Knowledge of compensation, equity programs, and stock option administration. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification. Experience with ADP, ATS platforms, and HR analytics tools.
Pay
$80,000 - $100,000 / year
