Sr. HR Risk & Compliance Mgr, Timehub, Time & Pay Innovation
About the role
The Timehub, Pay and Innovation Risk & Compliance team is responsible for managing global programs that include inventorying, assessing, and monitoring important working time and employment-related risks where we do business. As a member of Amazon’s Timehub Pay and Innovation Risk & Compliance team, the Sr. HR Risk & Compliance Manager will be an integral team member working with HR policy, process, and system owners to manage complex time and attendance requirements, controls, and risk issues.
Responsibilities
- Partner with employment legal and HR policy, process, and system owners to ensure that sound protocols are in place to mitigate pay, time and attendance related risks.
- Monitor known and emerging risks, measure internal control effectiveness, and develop and own action items to remediate identified risk issues.
- Develop deep knowledge of the pay and time and attendance solution(s) utilized by Amazon, consult on the development of business requirements for new system implementations and enhancements.
- Draft written narratives to communicate obligations, risk analyses, and recommendations to HR policy, process, and system owners and senior stakeholders.
- Conduct on-site and risk control assessments, draft reports detailing methodology, results, and remediation plans.
- Consult on supporting documentation such as manager and employee communications, FAQs, and standard operating processes.
- Respond to questions and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage other HR risk and compliance related projects as needs arise.
- Able to travel 10%, as necessary
Requirements
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $121,200.00 - $163,900.00 USD annually, depending on location. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
