Sr. Global Sourcing Specialist (Promotional / Hardgoods)
for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if posting has real specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, etc. Must preserve all substantive info.
We need to parse the posting.
Key content:
- Intro paragraph about company culture, people, etc. Could be "About the role" or maybe "About BDA"? The instruction: use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to decide which sections apply.
We have:
- Location info: "Location: This role is based in Woodinville, WA and requires you to work onsite 4 days per week, with 1 day remote. We will also consider the following office locations: Troy, MI or Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX or Austin, TX or New York, NY or Indianapolis, IN To be considered, you must live within commuting distance, as regular in-person collaboration is a key part of the role."
That could be under "Schedule"? Actually schedule is about remote/onsite days. Could be "Schedule" heading. Also location could be part of "About the role" maybe.
- JOB SUMMARY paragraph: description of role.
- Experience Requirements bullet list (actually lines). Those are requirements/qualifications.
- Job Skills and Traits list.
- Duties & Responsibilities list.
- Additional Details bullet list (Travel, Financial Responsibility, Strategic Planning, Direct Reports).
- Why This Role paragraph.
- Why BDA? paragraph about company, core values.
- Pay: "We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000." plus explanation about compensation.
- Benefits: list of benefits: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement. Certain revenue-generating positions may be eligible for incentive compensation.
- Also mention "BDA is more than a workplace - it's a family." etc. That's more about culture.
We need to avoid boilerplate: EEO statement, equal opportunity, scam warning, etc. Remove lines like "BDA Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer..." etc. Also remove "Connect With Us!" etc. Also remove application instructions like "Not ready to apply? Connect with us for general consideration." etc. Also remove "Must be 18 years or older to apply."
We need to keep substantive info: location, schedule, job summary, experience requirements, skills/traits, duties/responsibilities, additional details (travel, financial responsibility, strategic planning, direct reports), why this role, why BDA (core values), pay, benefits.
We need to decide sections.
Potential sections:
- About the role (could include location, schedule, job summary). Or we could split: About the role (summary), Responsibilities, Requirements (experience), Qualifications (maybe same as requirements), Skills (skills and traits), Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
But we must not create sections with filler. So we need to ensure each heading has substantive content.
We could do:
About the role
... location and schedule ...
... job summary ...
Responsibilities
- ... duties list ...
Requirements
- ... experience requirements ...
Skills
- ... job skills and traits ...
Benefits
- ... benefits list ...
Pay
... salary range ...
Maybe also a section "Additional Details" but not in the list of allowed headings. The allowed headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We could incorporate additional details into Responsibilities or About the role. Travel, financial responsibility, strategic planning, direct reports could be part of Responsibilities or About the role. We could also have a Schedule heading for remote/onsite details. But we already included location and schedule in About the role. Could also separate schedule. But we must not create a heading if content is thin. If we put schedule in About the role, it's fine. We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. Not needed. We must not include Job ID etc. We must preserve all substantive info; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep the specifics: e.g., "5–8+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, production on a promotional product/customized goods", "Advanced supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation", etc. Must keep them as list items. Similarly for skills: list each trait. For duties: list each duty. For benefits: list each benefit. For pay: include the range and explanation. For why this role and why BDA: maybe incorporate into About the role or separate sections? Not in allowed headings but we could put under About the role as additional paragraphs. But we must not create sections like "Why This Role" unless we map to allowed headings. Could incorporate into About the role. Thus final HTML:About the role
