About the role

You will serve as the business partner to the sales departments, providing insights and solutions while ensuring Red Bull North America investment targets are achieved and communicated. This role focuses on budget management, forecasting, month-end reporting, and price and promotion guidance for the convenience channel.

Responsibilities

  • Budget Management
    • Manage the Off-Premise Trade Budget for Red Bull’s Convenience channel, supporting accounts such as 7-Eleven, Circle K, Quiktrip, Wawa, and others.
    • Contribute to high-accuracy business plans, revised estimates, and explain material variances to plan.
    • Perform FP&A tasks including month-end close and volume/rate/mix analysis.
    • Ensure distribution of financial information (plan and actual) to budget owners through reports, system access, and monthly review meetings with sales teams.
    • Promote efficiency by minimizing time spent on report generation to increase focus on analysis, commentary, and insights sharing.
    • Lead tactical and meaningful budget meetings by introducing new ideas, asking solution-oriented questions, and influencing cross-functional teams with detailed plan knowledge.
    • Maintain CPM (CRM system) accruals and ensure planning accuracy for Convenience accounts, including prior and current-year accruals.
    • Perform value chain analysis for existing and new potential retailers to support decision-making and mitigate exposure risk within the convenience channel.
    • Build strong relationships with budget holders based on mutual respect and trust, challenging where necessary.
  • Price and Promotion Guidance
    • Lead convenience channel guidance and compliance with Red Bull North America’s price guidelines.
    • Use syndicated data and retailer sources to track in-market prices, identify outliers, and communicate findings through clear reporting.
    • Perform regular profitability analysis on promotional activities by measuring lift, brand impact, and return on investment.
    • Familiarity with Circana measures such as Dollar Sales, Volume sales, base and incremental volume, and promotional lift.
    • Create PowerPoint presentations and present insights to finance and cross-functional teams.
    • Understand how to measure return on investment across tactics like price reductions, coupons, and temporary distribution gains.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance roles.
  • Prior CPG finance experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to learning and adapting to new challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in integrated business analysis tools such as SAP BI or Hyperion.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a proven ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $86,000 - $128,000 plus cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience.
