About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst provides strategic financial planning and operational support for the Originations Division. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, reporting, and business performance insights. Working closely with finance, accounting, sales, operations, and executive leadership, the analyst helps drive informed decision-making, improve financial processes, and support long-term business growth.

Location: Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, United States (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis
    • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the Originations Division.
    • Develop comprehensive financial plans aligned with business objectives.
    • Support long-range financial planning and strategic initiatives.
    • Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior-year results.
    • Identify financial risks and opportunities to support business growth.
    • Provide financial recommendations to business leadership.
  • Financial Modeling & Reporting
    • Build, maintain, and enhance dynamic financial models.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
    • Develop management reports highlighting key financial metrics.
    • Perform variance analysis and identify root causes of financial performance.
    • Produce ad hoc financial reports to support business needs.
    • Present financial insights to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Business Partnership & Strategic Support
    • Partner with Sales, Operations, Accounting, and other business units.
    • Translate strategic business initiatives into financial forecasts.
    • Support executive decision-making through financial analysis.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business planning initiatives.
    • Communicate financial performance and recommendations effectively.
    • Foster strong relationships across departments to improve financial outcomes.
  • Accounting & Process Improvement
    • Support the month-end close process in partnership with the accounting team.
    • Reconcile financial accounts and analyze reporting variances.
    • Ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.
    • Drive automation initiatives for financial reporting and planning processes.
    • Improve the scalability and efficiency of financial workflows.
    • Support continuous improvement across finance operations.
  • Operational & Performance Analysis
    • Analyze expense trends, productivity metrics, and operational performance.
    • Monitor business volume reporting and financial performance indicators.
    • Evaluate operational drivers affecting financial results.
    • Support business performance measurement through analytical reporting.
    • Assist leadership in identifying operational improvement opportunities.
    • Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
  • Experience presenting financial analysis and recommendations to business leaders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Advanced financial modeling expertise.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing business priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL proficiency.
  • Experience with financial process automation.
  • Experience supporting operational finance in a business environment.
  • Experience working within cross-functional finance teams.
