About the role
In this Sr Financial Analyst position at our Milwaukee, WI brewery, you will be part of the Brewery Finance team. You will provide finance support, delivering reporting for actual results, forecasting, budgeting, and control policies, procedures, and processes at the department level while supporting the entire brewery as needed. This role reports to the Brewery Finance Manager and works closely with brewery operational teams and Regional World Class Supply Chain Pillars.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business owners to understand underlying business processes to reduce waste and improve efficiencies in the brewery.
- Prepare, analyze, and review periodic financial performance with department owners and support month-end close and forecast processes.
- Support and facilitate the annual financial budgeting process.
- Coordinate and participate in physical inventories.
- Support and participate in World Class Supply Chain activities to drive improvements.
- Prepare business cases and ROI proposals for capital projects.
- Mentor analyst new hires at the home brewery as well as other breweries in your area of expertise.
- Lead network-wide best practice initiatives in areas of expertise (brewing/packaging/distribution), which could include budgeting, actuals reporting, waste reporting, and accounting activities.
- Serve as a leader for brewing/packaging/warehouse analyst communities.
- Lead “community calls” focused on best practices.
- Act as an “Expert User” for brewery finance academy modules.
- Lead or co-lead system implementation efforts.
- Serve as brewery representation on standardization projects.
- Back up the WCSC Pillar lead for the Focused Improvement or Supply Network Pillars.
- Demonstrate initiative to drive change and influence others in support of the brewery’s goals and objectives.
- Take a systematic approach to evaluating alternatives and make recommendations to management.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in a relevant field.
- At least 4+ years of financial analyst experience.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with various financial and software systems.
- Ability to complete complex projects quickly and accurately with a clear understanding of business priorities.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Diplomatic, professional, and exercises great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships within the business.
- Naturally curious with a strong desire to develop analytical and predictive models to support business needs.

Pay
Posting salary range: $83,200.00 - $109,200.00 plus a 10% target short-term incentive. On average, $23,000 is spent on benefits per employee, including health, dental, vision, retirement, wellness incentives, and EAP.
