Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree majoring in Finance or Accounting or Economics
- CPA and Six Sigma (preferred)
- SAP MM & FI experience required
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
- Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and inventory analysis
- Finance in manufacturing environment or supporting a plant is preferred
- Proven ability to analyze trends, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
- Highly developed communication skills, verbal, written, interpersonal & presentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Pro-actively proposes solutions
- Hard-working and self-motivated work style; Focused on team play and team engagement
- Strong background in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
- Experience working with data analysis solutions such as Power BI
- Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong business partnerships
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and continuous improvement mindset
Responsibilities
- Financial & Management Reporting: Perform Material Price Variance (MPV) and Material Usage Variance (MUV) analysis; Track and report capital spending year-to-date; Support Supply Chain Finance reporting and consolidation activities; Support Supply Chain in Budgeting, Forecasting and Actual Analysis; Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast)
- Accounting and Financial Management: Perform account reconciliations and financial risk assessments, including GR/IR; Support inventory management analysis related to excess and obsolete materials; Conduct make-vs-buy and insourcing analyses; Support material costing activities; Provide financial support for warehouse and manufacturing-related projects
- Management presentation: Support Plant Controllers in preparing monthly financial results and presentations; Drive reporting standardization across plants and locations; Prepare and support Supply Chain Finance consolidation packages; Prepare fluctuation and trend analyses for senior management presentations
- Inventory Management support: Support scheduled inventory cycle counts, including count creation and analysis; Analyze inventory variances, including MPV and GR/IR reviews; Review warehouse inventory movements and support cycle count adjustments; Prepare and analyze Inventory Accuracy Reports (IRA)
- Internal and external audit: Support internal and external audits to ensure plant compliance with policies and procedures
