Responsibilities

  • Prepares quarterly and monthly financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information.
  • Analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Monitors performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
  • Analyzes complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Creates presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
  • Develops financial models and Return on Investment analyses for cost and quality improvement projects and programs.
  • Builds strong relationships with leadership, customers, and peers, communicating effectively with stakeholders, customers, and supervisors.
  • Communicates appropriately and effectively with stakeholders, maintaining awareness of any issues, potential delays, and situations of concern that may affect productivity.
  • Conducts data quality checks and documents work products.
  • Coordinates with other developers and analysts to build and share knowledge, ensuring consistent delivery of information.
  • Provides technical support for ad-hoc financial reporting and decision support needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Project Management or related field [Required]
  • Master's degree [Preferred]
  • 2+ years of experience in net revenue, accounting, finance, reimbursement or revenue cycle operations [Required]
  • 2+ years of experience with Crowe RCA tool [Preferred]
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) [Preferred]

Skills

  • Knowledge of health plans and Integrated Delivery Systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and operational skills
  • Outstanding ability to prepare financial reporting, provide analysis, and statistical data the organization can use to make operational changes, target specific goals, and refine processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High-level interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively and tactfully with multi-disciplinary and diverse teams including senior executives, employees, customers, and physicians
  • Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to coordinate projects related to developing financial information for decision-making
  • Ability to deal with data that is of a sensitive and confidential nature
  • Strong emphasis on organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Able to take initiative to solve issues
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English
  • Ability to work well independently on tasks assigned
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare finance environment
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial leaders
  • Mature judgment required in dealing with new and unexpected situations
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and reimbursement methodologies
  • SAS or other BI program [Preferred]
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix-managed environment to achieve organizational goals
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting
  • Superior interpretive analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with Macros [Preferred]
  • Experience working in databases (SQL, Access) and manipulating large data sets [Preferred]

Pay

$54,680.66 - $101,717.57
