Sr. Exploitation Specialist/Data Steward (TS/SCI)

About the role

Culmen International is hiring a Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Steward to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. The position involves enhancing product and asset management of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to understand and address their dataset-related questions and issues.
• Determine the best methods and approaches to create data-driven solutions within program guidelines.
• Lead and assist in the development of automated processes and data science solutions.
• Automate workflows and conduct analysis using available tools.
• Identify patterns to solve complex problems faced by the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).
• Work with large structured/unstructured data in a modeling and analytical environment.
• Define and create streamlined processes for evaluating unique datasets.
• Translate road map features into components/tasks, estimate timelines, identify resources, suggest solutions, and recognize possible risks.
• Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data.
• Implement optimization models, strategies, and methods to inform data management activities and analysis.
• Use big data analytic tools to analyze large, diverse sets of data.
• Deliver impactful insights and assessments for decision-makers.
• Conduct peer reviews to improve workflow, procedures, and methodologies.
• Build high-performing teams and provide development opportunities to increase technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Possess a Master's degree in Data Science or a related technical field.
• Experience developing and working with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML).
• Advanced programming experience using one or more of the following: HTML 5/Javascript, ArcObjects, Python, Model Builder, Oracle, SQL, GIScience, GeospatiavAnalysis, Statistics, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, Arc SDE, ArcIMS.
• Experience building and maintaining databases of GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT data related to the area of interest.
• Data Visualization experience, including Matrix Analytics, Network Analytics, and Graphing Data.

Qualifications

• Experience using NET, Python, C++, and/or JAVA programming for web interface development and geodatabase development.
• Adaptability to mission requirements and ability to solve complex problems.
• Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in data-driven solutions and automated processes.
