Sr. Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist (TS/SCI)

About the role

Culmen International is hiring a Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. The position involves enhancing product and asset management of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) products for intelligence producers in NGA and across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to understand and address questions and issues involving their datasets.
• Determine the best method and approach to create data-driven solutions within program guidelines.
• Lead and assist in the development of automated processes and data science solutions.
• Automate workflows and conduct analysis using available tools.
• Identify patterns to help solve complex problems facing the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC).
• Work with large structured/unstructured data in a modeling and analytical environment.
• Define and create streamline processes for evaluating unique datasets.
• Translate road map features into components/tasks, estimate timelines, identify resources, suggest solutions, and recognize possible risks.
• Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data.
• Combine applied mathematics, programming skills, analytical techniques, and data to provide impactful insights for decision makers.
• Research and implement optimization models, strategies, and methods to inform data management activities and analysis.
• Use big data analytic tools to analyze large, diverse sets of data and deliver impactful insights and assessments.
• Conduct peer reviews to improve quality of workflows, procedures, and methodologies.
• Build high-performing teams; mentor team members to increase their technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Master's degree in Data Science or related technical field required. Experience with AI/ML, advanced programming techniques (HTML 5/Javascript, ArcObjects, Python, Model Builder, Oracle, SQL, GIScience, GeospatiavAnalysis, Statistics, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, Arc SDE, ArcIMS), NET, Python, C++, and/or JAVA programming, and experience with GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT data are preferred.

Qualifications

Experience developing and working with AI/ML, demonstrated experience with advanced programming techniques, and data visualization experience are essential.
